Whilst soaring high there are moments in life that test us, throwing us back down to earth…
Sometimes we are left feeling shattered and a little lost but within these trails is a world of magic waiting to be uncovered, reclaimed, and embodied. When we fall it is an opportunity to break the walls that keep us from who we are.
This poem is reflective of the painful moments that bring us to our knees, "Why?" we often plea. Our loving creator breaks us down to wash away the falseness and reveal our truly magical selves. May we all have the strength to fall with grace for God’s blessings await us!
Sometimes I fall
like a glass held high above my head
shattering my falseness
pouring out truthfulness
In that moment
I lay silently on the floor
a little lighter
a little calmer
I marvel at the loss
that has engulfed me in magic
