My mind has a way of pulling up my past… It wants me to relive sorrows, broken stories that fracture my living. This poem reflects my consciousness coming to its breath, and allowing the newness of each day to hold me just as I am. I said, be on your way. when my past came with, it’s haunting, instead of compassionate recalling- my mind slipped behind, my breath and whispered… be on your way. when life hits hard, avalanche of fears- I say with tender tears, let them fall on me- like petals from my heart's garden, blowing on a gentle breeze- through my soul.
