Part
of my sharing here is because I need healing…
I am aware that no one and nothing in heaven or earth binds me
more than my own thoughts. It is easy for me to be accepting and allowing with
others. Not so easy with myself. I cognitively understand what that's about for
me; when, where, and how that pattern developed. But I want to do more than
understand. I want to overcome it. And so I am profoundly grateful for this
Sacred Space, where I can voice and be those parts of me that are reluctant to
come out of hiding and fully take flight; those parts that scare me because
they insist upon my freedom.

No Anchor
by Brigid Clare Oak
I want
no anchor
for my soul
Give me
wings
to fly
Let me
be lightly
earthed
A friend
of
levity
Bound only
by a solemn vow
to Beauty and Being
And the
freeing forces
of
Acceptance and
Innocence
and Now.
