When relationships break, one’s self-esteem also goes through turmoil…
It then becomes very difficult for a woman to rise again and see herself worthy of Love and Life.
In my life too, a similar kind of situation came where I had to select my own dignity over my relationship. Walking out was a great step. I had no support whatsoever. Even from my own family, and it was especially hard because I had kids to look after.
But now, when I look back, I feel it was for my spiritual growth. I have no bad feelings about my bad marriage. In fact, I feel it taught me, and it opened me, into a flowering phase of my life. Whatever I am now, I owe, in part, to that bad relationship.
Have Wings, Will Fly
Sometimes, things don’t work out right
And you just have to say ‘bye’
Every tear comes to dry
All that matters is ‘belief in one’s own self’
I won’t let sorrow hurt me anymore
I will be stronger than before
My hope won’t desert me
I am not alone anymore
I can now say this is mine
You can’t take it
I ‘now’ believe in myself
I can…I will…fly…
I have wings
I will fly!
