MESSAGE TO MY SISTERS by Grace Gabriella Puskas

We all go through darkness, trials: lessons to learn from…

Hopefully, we draw these lessons from darkness and integrate their messages and deeper meanings into our lives. We are individuals, yet we are One; a collective. I believe that consciousness is a shared dream and wounds run deep, yet we have the power within us to not only reclaim our divinity, our unconditional love, healing and forgiveness for ourselves, but to reflect this out to others. This poem is such a reflection: a message of strength, a message of our magic, and a message of love.

Message to My Sisters
by Grace Gabriella Puskas

Sister of this Earth,
remember your divinity and your true worth.
Awaken your inner goddess,
reclaim your power and be honest
with your true heart’s desire.
Allow the burning of the fire
that is deep within your psyche...
You are an independent creature of the night,
so allow the moon’s magic to be your guide.
Raise the serpent energy that resides,
engage in activities and never compromise
the perfection that is your nature.

Be the healer and creator…

Be the friend and be the lover,
be the compassionate caring mother.
Show child and man how to truly accept
through unconditional love, affection, joy and wit.
Be a role model of peace and take care of your soul,
remember your role here for helping this world.

You are the divine incarnation of the spirit of Mother Earth.
You are brave and selfless for choosing to incarnate as a girl,
for your pain runs deep, like the mighty tree's roots.
Memories of suffering are shared through the connection of truth,
the spirals of subconscious bringing pain to your youth
yet for this great sacrifice, eternal love is now given to you.

So Thank you, dear sister, for assisting with karmic healing.
Remember always to remain true to your senses, intuition
and inner feeling,
no matter how false minds judge or wrongfully perceive
things.
Your intention is all that matters in the real world of unity.
Realize your essence, share your truth, and empower your
community.

Please, dear sister, brighten the world with your light.
Inspire hearts through your song... you truly are beauty
divine.

Grace Gabriella Puskas: When I started meditating on a daily basis and felt most in tune with the natural world, I asked myself; ''If I could do anything, what would I do?'' Music and healing. It was this deep knowing that this is where I should focus my energy and time to feel joyous and at peace. Even to this day, whenever I feel a bit low, I consciously say to myself- 'music and healing, music and healing.' It's a lovely reminder and mantra. To me, language itself is a form of music as everything is frequency, vibration; hence why I express myself poetically. We are living in a 'uni-verse' after all. I love sharing! In addition to spending much time healing myself and others through reiki and shamanic practices, I also enjoy performing my poetry at events, festivals, community gatherings, schools, and where ever my wondering feet may guide me. I have had articles on various themes such as music, consciousness, meditation, shamanism, sound healing, meditation and creativity published in More To Life, Kindred Spirit and Watkins Mind Body Spirit magazines. If anyone would like any poetic writings for specific themes, please do not hesitate to drop me a line. Witness my creative journey on my website here or on Facebook here.

IMAGINE A WOMAN by Patricia Lynn Reilly

This poem invites you to look upon yourself with loving kindness… Gazing at your own true reflection, you will discover that everything you have longed for “out there” is already within you! I invite you to love your creativity fiercely. Faithfully plant seeds, allowing under-the-ground dormant seasons, nurturing your creative garden with love and gratitude. In the fullness of time, the green growing things thrust forth from the ground. It's a faithful, trustworthy process. AND it takes time and patience.  Blessed is the fruit of your creative womb! I invite you to trust your vision of the world and express it. With wonder and delight, paint a picture, create a dance, write a book, and make up a song. To give expression to your creative impulses is as natural as your breathing. Create in your own language, imagery, and movement. Follow no script. Do not be limited by the customary way things have been expressed. Your creative intuition is original. Gather

IMBOLC by Caroline Mellor

The inspiration for this poem came after I watched a magical winter sunset and full moonrise from the top of Firle Beacon in the South Downs... Unusually for me, I wrote the poem quite quickly and changed it very little before publishing it – perhaps the energies were working through my pen! Imbolc is the mid-point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. It’s a fire festival which I particularly love because of its associations with Brigid, the Celtic Mother Goddess of arts and crafts, clear sight, healing, inspiration and nurturance of creative talents – something which, through my writing, I am always trying to connect with.  I also love Imbolc because, with so much darkness and negativity in the world today, it is a time for hope, potential, visioning and initiation. With love and blessings as the light returns. Photography by Chanel Baran IMBOLC    by Caroline Mellor I am the dream of awakening. I am the returning of the night.  I am the tough green

WINTER SOLSTICE: A GIFT OF LOVE by Carolyn Riker

I’ve had several days now of alone time… It is unusual and a gift that I couldn’t see until I breathed it. I have been able to watch the sun’s rise through the grey of dawn and smile at the flickers of frost melting on the waving boughs of evergreen. It’s unique to follow daylight as it traverses the tempo of a cat’s soft slumbering purr. Night comes swifter and the glow of candles and the flames of fire comfort me more than the steady stream of always-doing-more. As much as I resisted, I needed this break. I had no idea how much my body was trying to tell me   slow down   until the exhaustion settled in around my joints. My eyes swam in molasses. Heaviness of I-can’t-hold-out-much-long, walked me to the throne of my nest. It’s winter’s gift of self-nurturing and love. It’s been a quiet proclamation of femininity and a need for comfort foods. Lemon crisps and cranberry, white-chocolate shortbread dipped in tea; I felt a hint of being pampered without
