I
always feel an inner swelling of emotions during the phases of the moon...
Inside
I feel a deep urging to look at where I am, what I am holding onto and what
I must let go. I often feel a deep unsettling during this time, often feeling
so scattered with my feelings. I come to the New Moon scooping up my ache
and brokenness bringing it all to gentle releasing.
Across My Inner Galaxy
by Maureen Kwiat Meshenberg
I
feel her pull,
stretch
across my universe-
I
feel her reach,
into
my deep-
what
brings,
my
soul-
to
weep,
letting
it spill-
upon
my heart,
gentle
turning-
towards
your-
sliver
beam glow,
reaching
the spring sky-
with
birthing,
wanting
to rise-
lulling
my emotional,
scattering-
I
bring it all,
to
gathering-
scooping
up all of it,
my
brokenness-
holding
it high,
to
my April New Moon sky-
watching
them fly,
turning
into stars-
across
my inner galaxy.
