Sometimes
we layer ourselves with veils, covering our true vulnerable selves...
When we are
vulnerable to our surrender, to the releasing of what covers our true light, it
actually becomes our courage and our strength.
Life
in its Transparency
by Maureen Kwiat Meshenberg
life
in its transparency,
we
hold the veils-
that
layer us,
sometimes
dark and mysterious-
holding
our soul inward,
not
exposing vulnerability,
when
actually it is our courage.
sometimes
colorful,
with
sheerness of opening-
just
a glimpse of our light beings,
dancing
in the presence-
of
living,
but
if the veils are lifted,
in
the nakedness of-
love
revealing,
we
are like air-
like
wind that moves,
between
the moments-
that
dance with us,
that
carries us-
to
fly high,
to
our place of truth seeking-
we
can hold it all,
gently
and powerfully-
in
the openness of believing,
transparent
and vulnerable-
powerful
and courageous,
mingled
together-
as
we allow ourselves to be.
Maureen Kwiat Meshenberg: About 3 years ago, I was awakened from my slumber, though it was a devastating breaking point in my life, I was reunited to a true relationship with my spiritual self and my gift through poetry. It is my intention to reach others by sharing my story through poetry and touching theirs. I am the Page owner of Heart’s Calling. I am also the Visionary Poet for the Facebook Magazine "Women as Visionaries with Lore Raymond" here. I recite spoken word at different venues and also host a monthly Creative Writing Circle using the space for women to bring out their inner release through written word. I recently published my own poetry book "Seasons of the Soul: Transitions and Shifts of Life" available here, and am currently working on volume II. I can be contacted through my Heart’s Calling Facebook page here.
