This poem came to me as
an answer to a prayer…
It was just the message I needed to hear at the time,
serving as a powerful yet gentle reminder to not shy away from believing in
myself.
I share it with all of you in hopes that these words may
also touch your heart as they did mine.
Believe
Believe In Your own beauty
Believe in your own grace
Gifts and blessings
Do not run
Or hide your face
In fear of your own brightness
It will not blind you and everyone else
The light you seek
Is within and around
Shining a beacon of hope and faith
Singing an ecclesiastical hymn
You are the reason
For your existence
You have much to offer and rejoice
For the pleasure of Him lies in you
Be love's goodness
Traverse love's path
Claim your birthright of God's glory
Love, sister love
