There I was, washing the dishes…
Completely enjoying the quiet swish of warm water and suds,
when I was captivated by the beauty of a late afternoon sky.
As I watched, my heart unfolded.
Just when I needed love the most, I felt a tremendous connectedness to a
universal love.
Stunned and teary, I gazed in
awe and drank in a peaceful gratitude.
The sky was painted in layers of Love
A sliver of blue.
slate and white.
I felt the setting of the sun;
underneath a veil of clouds
the air,
electrifying.
a silent Om touched my skin
eyes sealed,
a rapture of
love descended and held me.
I folded into the galaxies,
the stars
tangled
my hair
the four winds
tethered
to my limbs
delicate fibers stitched a lattice
of
symmetrical truths.
Weaving, assimilating
and assuring me
to the very center
of my heart
this journey,
a pilgrimage
expands into
the layers of
stardust
the essence
love and life
me and you.
