I in my humanness experience the pull of my emotions, like the ebb and flow of the ocean… I find myself in a constant flowing shift. This poem identifies with the fear of change, the rawness of pain, the truth of my light and also of my darkness. On my journey I see myself shifting between the spirit and the human that is all a part of me. But we must always remember, there is always a new start for us, each and every new day. When I Shift the stretching of my thoughts, bring me to remove- the filters, that I sometimes place, trying to erase- the uncomfortable parts of me. when I shift, and feel my soul wander- how can I leave, it all to be- to break the patterns, what is underneath, it does not disappear, it is waiting to bring- it to clear, what is there for me- to let it all go.
