BELLIS PERENNIS by Amanda Jane

Bellis Perennis   While she sleeps Under the watchful eyes of the sky.   A push of daisies under her pillow Chains of dreams wrap her heart While they float so high Her face, so peaceful Her eyes, sleepy shut.   Splashes of crystal-clear waterfall Splash down her cheeks Crashing on the structure of her face.   A dream of warmth Of Mother Nature A woman she truly loves.   A spring of life in her heart Blossom so fresh She looks so happy So peaceful As she enjoys her rest.   While she sleeps Under the watchful eyes of the sky. Amanda Jane (West Yorkshire, England) is a woman of nature she enjoys getting lost in the world and admiring its beauty, she loves listening to the birds tweet their song and listening to the buzz of the bee. Her true love is the major oak. She likes to imagine its visitors of the past and often wonders about the wrinkles of its bark. she loves admiring their offering to the planet. She believes that we should all be as wild and free as the sea while letting the

Notes on a Pandemic   What stories shall we tell    past knotted fear:   Of touching without flesh of Winter-seeded faith of viral music trumpeting    imagine all the people of hands sounding gratitude of words looped over metered space      threading a collective of parked tyres, dusty tarmac;   the exhaling earth the constancy of sun a pink crescent moon the usual light on        all our faces (Click play below to hear the author recite "Notes on a Pandemic")  . DEAR ONE, WHENEVER YOU ARE ABLE by Carolyn Chilton Casas

Dear one, whenever you are able   try to be kind and open, play like a child, smile and laugh a lot,   contemplate the forest, breathe in the scent of the sea, be conscious of love  in its many forms,   welcome suggestions  from beyond, gently release your fears and the desire to control  the ebb and flow,   feel life in its totality, accept all paths traveled, forgive hurts held on to,   allow your energy to uplift, be thankful for blessings received,   remember the remarkable being and body of light that you are. SHE WILL BE LOVED by BethAnne Kapansky Wright

This poem was inspired by  the soul wisdom gained from the latest Mercury retrograde cycle, whose energy helped me reconnect to my deep need to be seen and beheld through a multidimensional lens and move away from relationships that leave me feeling flat and fixed.  This reconnection is a need that each of us as soulful, sensitive women have. A need that beckons us to honor it, so we can keep growing and becoming our higher expression. A need that I believe begins to heal and be filled, when we turn our gaze inward and do the sacred inner work of bearing full witness to ourselves. (This poem was also inspired  by  the song "She Will Be Loved"  by Maroon 5).  She Will Be Loved   And she will be loved-- Not in half cups or half flux or measured half notes. But in euphonic, tectonic compositions of soul.   And she will be loved-- Not in droplets or puddles or small streams of self. But in vast depths of  oceans that mirror  her full self.   And she will be loved-- Not in beige f

A CONTINUANCE OF CHANGE by Carolyn Chilton Casas

A Continuance of Change A strife-free life does not exist but in longing, like parching thirst  brings dreams of verdant streams.   It is a world forever broken open  by a continuance of change, the disruption of ordered things.   How not to lose heart? Where are the guiding signs? Can faith be enough?   Faint whisperings float by my ear, Accept what is, love the world no matter what.    Acceptance, the drumbeat that will lead me home. WITHIN GOD’S LOVING HANDS by Eva Marie Cagley

Within God's Loving Hands  I watched the sun setting by the indigo lake  In the dusk of bright starry night  And the water dance ripples of love  Upon its orange sky that painted its hue of  Orange and yellow delight!  The taste of sweet tangerines  Still upon my dry parched lips!  Frozen now in my step upon the wooden  Man-made walkway  Gazing out beyond my eyes view  I could feel myself softly stepping upon  The billowing colorful sky’s canvas  Colors of autumn leaves formed like the clay in a desert  One would expect to see there.  My God, how sweet the silence here  Hardly an insect sound all hushed now  By this aura created by God’s hands…  In the dawning of night  It is here I contemplate on life  And its worldly things and I realize  Money can’t buy such beauty transformed  Within God’s hands!  An artist can’t quite capture its beauty  Painted upon canvas  And a poet can’t quite convey this feeling  Of serene in just mere words…  A photograph saved forever can’t remember
