The music was quietly playing in the background of my mind. My bare feet skimmed the floor. I felt the music was like the wind. Sometimes the wind plays a lovely melody. I was dancing with the song of my heart. The notes were pure, simple and loving. There was a faint smile of joy as I found self-love to be okay. Actually more than okay, it was quite delicious. Tasting the succulent nectar of self-care, wrapped in a velvet ribbon of peacefulness. This poem reflects a solo dance of my heart. It’s tender and delicate as bird’s feather.
