MEDITATION IV by Ann Metlay

Meditation IV by Ann Metlay Breathe in. passage to my lungs, forked path that meanders toward the depths of my soul. Push through  my arms push  through  the narrowness of fingers  which grasp for tools of  my mundane life. Overpower  the blockage in my feet which choose to tread on paths grooved from ordinary cares. Breathe out. Tunnel through my bones, through marrow and blood which grant  me life. Remove debris which buries my soul; take from me the bitter taste of bondage held in daily drudgery; lift fatigue from my every cell. Breathe in. Inflate me,  Spirit, with your holy vision; fill me with your essence. Come in me, pass through me, so that I  might become one with your perfect order. Breathe out. SUTRA OF STARS by Taya Malakian

  This poem came to me after practicing a deep meditation… As I meditated I really experienced the connection (or rather lack of separation) between myself, and all of creation. It was a powerful experience and fortunately this poem came through to capture it in words.  Pictured is the author, Taya Malakain, photographed by Shawn Reeder Sutra Of Stars  There is a web that weaves  the fabric of creation together in a net that contracts and expands. Eons pass with each inhale and each exhale. From the tiniest fiber to the whole of the infinite Universes, there is no separation from the rhythmic dance of creation. There is a Sutra of Stars that draws the heavens together in its spiral. There is an orchestra amongst the atoms so that even the most miniscule  is a seed of the profound.
