The other night I wept
deeply…
I
wept for many things really, and came to feel that even in moments where the
"blues," are felt, there's power there that can bring us, guide us,
towards experiencing a deeper connection with ourselves and the universe.
The
blues, are great teachers. And on the other side of blues, profound comfort and
deeper inner knowing, is the blessing found through the journey.
Full Moon Blues
by Krista Katrovas
Sometimes
it's time to dance
to
celebrate life in this way.
At
other times,
it's
time to cry,
to
squeeze the blues
through
our hearts,
like
a sponge that's full,
ripe
for emptying.
There
is time
when
tears are
our
medicine
and
leave behind
after
their fall,
more
room for life to enter.
As
we ride the waves
of
our hearts,
when
they roar like lions,
when
we embrace the emotions
a
full moon can bring
before
the blue returns
like
magic
back
into purple,
riding
the colors of the rainbow, the horizon,
the
sunrise and sunset
within
and around us,
it's
the blues,
the
power of
the
Full Moon Blues
that
also holds the blessing
in
our coming to know,
intimacy
as with a lover,
the
ebb and flow of life
and
our profound connection to the Moon.
